Our Owners

Let us introduce ourselves….

We’re Stephen & Kalee Spence.

We are family-owned and operated! Stephen has almost 20+ years in the fence and deck industry. Installing is truly second nature to him! I, Kalee, was once a nurse but decided to trade in my scrubs to join Stephen to help serve our growing business. By serve I mean... I learned how to build every style of fence and even ran a crew at one point! You’ll mostly find me managing the business side of operations now, while also doing estimates!

We are quite the blended family... 'blended, but splendid' has been our life motto for 12 years now! 5 kiddos - Stephen’s oldest daughter recently graduated high school, completed cosmetology school, and will be attending Vincennes University majoring in business! Our 2nd daughter is starting high school, she is our animal lover & manages all our farm life! Our only boy is our easiest, but busiest child! He plays travel basketball & baseball, tried football out this past season, and ran track! He’s our straight-A student and is looking forward to middle school ball. We were blessed with ‘our baby’ when she was just 5 days old and are beyond grateful we were able to adopt her at 2 years old. She & I will be starting our homeschool journey together this year, as a big 1st grader! She challenges us daily, is a dancing machine, and loves the fence business. Especially operating the Bobcat! Our family also recently received placement of her biological sister, so yes, that means we now have 5 sweet babies we’re raising!

Between our kids, our business, and our farm… We stay busy & there is never a dull moment!

We have poured our hearts and every drop of energy we have into MFFENCECO for years and are very excited to share some of the things we have in store now as well as plans for what's to come in the years ahead of us.

All of our fences are built to the American Fence Association’s standards. Holes are dug & posts are set to proper depth, and never cut! We've also introduced the NO-DIG fence installation process to our area.

We do this by driving the post into the ground which eliminates the senseless dirt mounds, allowing a clean install! It's also a superior quality technique made for longevity, with a lifetime warranty!!

Not only do we as owners make sure to attend exclusive fence business training sessions within the industry, but we also believe that our installers need to have those same skills to represent our company. With that in mind, we include them in training focused on the process of building fences through hands-on, on-site events.

This is done by using unique tools that have been designed, developed, and tested to be the best in the industry! Our goal is to give our team the training to be as productive, efficient, and safe as possible, all while never sacrificing the highest levels of customer service we expect from each team member.
